Reech Sports assumed a pivotal role as Design and Project Consultants for a prestigious sports facility development project in Alibaug, India, aimed at catering to the needs of a brand-new school. The client’s vision encompassed not only the creation of an outstanding outdoor sports complex but also the ambition to foster athletic talent across various disciplines. Additionally, they aspired to open up the sports facilities to the broader community during non-school hours, ensuring the complex’s self-sustainability.

Our involvement as consultants encompassed a comprehensive range of responsibilities, starting with the conceptualisation and design of the sports facilities, a crucial foundation for the project’s success. Simultaneously, we meticulously provided a project cost and feasibility plan, ensuring that all aspects of the development aligned with the client’s objectives. As the project managers, we undertook the vital role of overseeing the entire facility’s construction, ensuring that it adhered to the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Moreover, we crafted a business brief and facility usage plan, strategically outlining how the sports complex would operate efficiently while serving both the school and the wider community. A key facet of our role involved identifying and appointing an operations management team specifically dedicated to the sports complex, ensuring its seamless operation.

The sports offerings, designed by Reech Sports, were nothing short of impressive, catering to a diverse range of athletic pursuits. These included a 25-metre swimming pool, a state-of-the-art half-sized 3G football pitch, a four-lane running track, a versatile Multi-Use Sports Area accommodating basketball, skating, tennis, and 5-a-side football. Additionally, we incorporated an outdoor fitness movement park, a serene yoga area, and a dedicated Kabaddi court into the facility’s design.

The project, with a total value of £250,000, stands as a testament to Reech Sports’ commitment to excellence in sports facility development, as well as our dedication to nurturing athletic talent and promoting active, healthy lifestyles within the community.
